Location: Columbus & LaGrange, GA Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Every Other Friday Off $20,000 Sign on Bonus available

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Echo Vascular Sonographer to join a growing cardiovascular imaging team in a clinical outpatient setting. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals who are passionate about patient care, diagnostic imaging, and working independently in a collaborative healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience performing both echocardiography and vascular ultrasound studies, with strong technical expertise and a patient-focused approach. This position involves rotating weekly between Columbus and LaGrange locations while maintaining a consistent weekday schedule with no nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echo examinations following established imaging protocols
• Conduct a full range of vascular ultrasound studies, including carotid, venous, arterial, ABI, and other vascular imaging procedures
• Evaluate and document patient histories while communicating key findings to interpreting physicians
• Provide exceptional patient care and maintain professionalism throughout the imaging process
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using EMR systems
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of ultrasound equipment and report equipment concerns promptly
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives and accreditation support processes
• Travel safely between assigned clinical locations as required
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, clinical staff, and healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• Active RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) Certification required
• Active RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) Certification required
• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
• Minimum 2 years of ultrasound experience preferred
• Strong proficiency in cerebrovascular, venous insufficiency, and arterial imaging
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different clinical environments
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Frequent walking, bending, lifting, and movement throughout the workday
• Ability to lift or move medical equipment up to 50 lbs.
