Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the entire 2024-2025 school year. Openings are available across elementary, middle, and high school settings in the beautiful region near Yerington, NV, with flexibility for you to select your preferred caseload ages. Whether you’re an experienced CCC-SLP or looking to complete your Clinical Fellowship (CF), your passion will help shape students’ communication skills and academic success.
This assignment offers the unique chance for SLP friends or couples to relocate and work together within the same school year. Positions begin August 2024, with a weekly commitment of 35-38 hours and support for both seasoned clinicians and those just beginning their careers.
Qualifications:
- Active CCC-SLP certification or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CF)
- Experience or coursework with elementary, middle, or high school students
- Genuine enthusiasm for working in educational settings
- Ability to collaborate with a diverse team of educators and support staff
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to caseload students
- Conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support students’ educational goals
- Document services and maintain thorough records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and professional development opportunities
