Pay & Benefits

What You'll Do

• Provide specialized nursing care for antepartum, laboring, and postpartum patients
• Circulate during C-sections and triage outpatient OB patients
• Administer Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Cytotec, and other labor inductions
• Manage postpartum hemorrhage and blood administration
• Collaborate with charge nurses and support staff to ensure quality patient care
• Document patient care accurately using EMR systems such as Meditech Expanse and GE Centricity Perinatal
• Support family-centered care through couplet care initiatives
• Participate in unit orientations and uphold hospital protocols during shifts

What You Need

• Valid RN license for Louisiana or appropriate state
• 1+ year of recent labor & delivery nursing experience
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, NRP, and FHM
• Ability to manage laboring and postpartum patients in fast-paced environments
• Strong clinical skills in magnesium sulfate therapy, blood administration, and peripartum monitoring
