This inpatient hospital provides general diagnostic radiology services across multiple imaging modalities within an established clinical environment. The facility maintains structured workflows and clinical protocols to support accurate and timely remote imaging interpretation. Locum tenens coverage is sought from January 2027 through April 2027 to address diagnostic radiology staffing needs.

A connected riverfront park district spans 250 acres and links the local zoo, the Eiteljorg Museum, and an NCAA Hall of Champions within a walkable corridor. Newfields provides a 152-acre campus combining art galleries, gardens, and a sculpture and nature park, while a central monument at the city's geographic center offers an observation deck. The diagnostic radiologist will provide 100% remote diagnostic imaging interpretation services via telehealth for an inpatient hospital, covering day, night, and 24-hour shift windows. Primary responsibilities include interpreting studies across plain film, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and nuclear medicine modalities, with shift volumes ranging from 70-100 studies for 10pm - 7am shifts and 100-125 studies for 7pm - 7am shifts. The modality breakdown is approximately 40-45% CT, 30-33% plain film, 10% MRI, and 10% ultrasound. Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology is required, and no call responsibilities are associated with this position.
