Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse - $2,276 per week

Job Overview TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a Med Surg RN for an immediate travel nursing assignment in Olney, Illinois. Assignment Details Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Schedule: 12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week Employment type: Travel Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on patients’ immediate conditions or needs. Perform ongoing assessments and administer treatments as ordered by a physician. Document patient findings and provide education and support to patients’ families. Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre‑ and post‑operative patients. Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication; report any adverse reactions. Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs. Prepare equipment and assist the physician during examination and treatment of patients. Educate patients on surgical procedures. Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plans as prescribed by the physician. Stand, walk, and bend for long periods; lift up to 20 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds when necessary. Work in a fast‑paced environment treating patients that may be confused, agitated, or uncooperative. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) license. BLS certification, 2 years of recent acute‑care experience. Additional certifications may be required prior to assignment. Benefits Weekly pay and guaranteed hours.
