Pricing Analyst V - Commercial

The Pricing Analyst V leads activities associated with the development of cost/price proposals, including strategic planning, analysis, spreadsheet development, and budget analysis. This is a remote position; a candidate local to an Amentum HQ facility (Chantilly, VA, or Fort Worth, TX) or with the ability to travel is preferred. US citizenship is required. Principal Responsibilities Develop and execute commercial pricing strategies aligning with contract cost and pricing principles, aimed at acquiring new and follow-on business opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure pricing proposals meet strategic and financial goals. Apply a deep understanding of commercial pricing strategies to develop competitive pricing models. Performs quality assurance reviews to ensure that cost/price volume components are accurate and responsive to requirements Stay current with industry trends and best practices in commercial real estate and facilities management. Assist in identifying and developing new business opportunities and commercial procedures and policies. Acts as a mentor, coordinating and directing other members of the pricing staff on larger complex proposals Ensures compliance with company and external policies and procedures Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Deep understanding of the commercial real estate and facilities management (IFM) industry Extensive knowledge of commercial pricing strategy Profound understanding of proposal development, including strategy and contract cost and pricing principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders. Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong mathematical skills for detailed financial analysis. Ability to review and write pricing narrative responses Extensive experience with the components of Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Proven ability to develop and implement commercial pricing strategies. Knowledge of commercial procedures and policies for identifying and developing potential business opportunities is a plus Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in an associated discipline; two (2) years’ experience in contracts or pricing may be substituted for each year of the four (4) years of college Twelve (12) years’ experience in cost proposal preparation or cost proposal development; relevant finance experience may be considered for some years in lieu of cost proposal preparation and development; 8 years’ experience with a master’s degree. Specific experience in Commercial IFM is required Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities to produce a large volume of high-quality material with keen attention to detail. Must be able to work extended hours, often with short notice, to meet deadlines. Travel Travel may be required, 10-20% Compensation & Benefits HIRING SALARY RANGE: $156k- $172k (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
