The Employee Relations Specialist plays a critical role in fostering a positive and productive work environment by advising managers and employees on employee relations matters, workplace policies, and organizational procedures. This position supports the resolution of workplace concerns through effective communication, conflict resolution, and employee coaching while ensuring compliance with employment laws, organizational policies, and best practices. Responsibilities include investigating workplace issues, facilitating communication between employees and leadership, supporting performance management and disciplinary processes, and partnering with Human Resources and legal teams on complex employee relations matters. The Employee Relations Specialist also contributes to employee engagement and retention initiatives, helping to create a fair, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture across the organization.

Advises management and employees on policies and procedures related to employee relations.

Investigates and resolves workplace conflicts promptly and effectively.

Facilitates communication between staff and leadership to promote understanding.

Ensures compliance with labor laws and company standards.

Develops programs to boost employee engagement and retention.

Supports disciplinary processes and performance management.

Collaborates with HR and legal teams on complex employee relations issues.

Maintains a fair and productive work environment.

Education Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Public Administration, or a related field required.

Job Qualifications:

• 5+ years - Employee relations and conflict resolution
• 3+ years - Employment law and policy advising
• 3+ years - Investigation and grievance handling
• 3+ years - Employee engagement program support
• 2+ years - Collaboration with HR and legal teams

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience in a labor union environment.
• Health Care experience.
