About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for the Student Experience and Dean of Students to join their team. The successful candidate will serve as a senior leader within the Division of Student Affairs, with a focus on advancing student connection, belonging, and engagement. This role is pivotal in the continuous refinement of the overall student experience and requires close collaboration with student affairs directors and institutional partners. The AVPDOS will provide leadership and administrative oversight in various areas, including student conduct, student engagement, residence life and housing, and the university union, with the goal of enhancing student engagement, retention, and fostering a supportive and inclusive campus environment. Applicants for the AVPDOS position at the company should have a proven track record in student affairs and a deep commitment to student success. The role demands a leader who can ensure alignment with best practices, cultivate a sense of belonging, and lead efforts to enhance the student experience. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, capable of providing vision and direction, and will have experience in areas such as student conduct, student engagement, and residence life. A strong educational background, including a relevant advanced degree, is required, along with excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
