Director Of Dining Services

Conecuh County Schools, located in the close-knit community of Evergreen, Alabama, is seeking a dynamic Director Of Dining Services to lead our new food service partnership across six schools serving approximately 1,100 students. Overseeing a team of 14 frontline associates, this leader will be responsible for delivering high-quality, nutritious meals while creating a welcoming dining experience that reflects the values of the community. We're looking for someone with strong culinary experience who appreciates the importance of home-cooked, comfort-style meals and can bring creativity and passion to the program.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with proven people-management skills and a talent for building strong relationships with school administrators, staff, and the community. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversees all P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the account
• Maintains excellent relationships with the client
• Works with the team to create nutritious, high-quality food for students
• Implements new culinary programs in conjunction with the marketing and culinary teams
• Acts as a liaison between Chartwells, the client, and the community
• Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient functioning of the dining services operation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Management, Hospitality, Culinary, or Nutrition preferred; additional food service management experience
• Three or more years of food service management experience
• K-12 dining experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Financial acumen with strong business intuition
