Account Manager

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for managing assigned accounts in the product division.

Daily point of contact for customers for ongoing projects.

Overseeing account profitability and performance.

Prepare and submit quotes to customers.

Assure pricing guidelines are followed.

Pricing quotations (including negotiating better installation pricing where needed and calculating mark up).

Follow up on open quotations on quoted jobs.

Coordinating field checks between installers and job supers.

Re-pricing jobs based upon field checks.

Negotiating pricing with corporate customers to win jobs.

Coordinating installations between job super and installer and communicating dates to corporate offices.

Follow up with job supers and installers on installations.

Scheduling return trips and negotiating fair pricing with installers on return trips.

Providing status reports to corporate offices and updating customer websites.

Assuring each job is installed on-time and at cost.

Meeting Sales/Markup objectives.

Providing a positive company image to internal/external customers.

Provide on-going communication with corporate offices to ensure we are providing excellent service and obtain any additional business.

Other assigned duties as required.

Core Competencies / Skills Required:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organization skills and follow-up.

Computer efficiency with Microsoft Office and B1 SAP.

Researching new trends in industry requiring security enclosures.

B.S./B.A. Degree or equivalent experience.
