Warehouse /Forklift Driver- Job Summary: As a member of the Shipping and Receiving department, the Receiving/Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for working independently and cooperatively on a regular basis with the material movement and tracking in both production as well as shipping and receiving. A material handler maintains production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory or inbound shipments; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product.


Warehouse /Forklift Driver- Responsibilities:

• Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory
• Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders
• Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies
• Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, loading, and securing product
• Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Focuses on inventory levels and maintaining Large Format/ Packaging inventory
• Assist's in Shipping/Receiving as needed
• Ability to be cross functional as needed

Schedule & Pay:

• 1st Shift 9am-5pm Monday-Friday and overtime is required as needed
• $17.00/HR depending on experience

Warehouse /Forklift Driver-Qualifications:

• Prior forklift or cherry picker operation
• Pick and pack or loading dock environment
• Desktop computer with Pace, Printstream, and Microsoft Office proficiency
• High school education or GED equivalent preferred
• Detail oriented with good problem solving and basic math skills
• Must be able to lift-up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for eight hours
• Able to work independently
• Able to prioritize work on a daily basis
• History of good attendance, dependability, and leadership
• Must abide by all safety rules, policies, and procedures
• High expectations of self and others
• Demonstrated commitment to quality
• Positive attitude
• Communicate effectively with people from varied abilities, backgrounds, and cultures
• Read, analyze, and interpret written information
• Present information verbally and respond to questions
• Deal successfully with difficult people and/or situations
• Computer skills and warehouse software experience is necessary
