Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in Tampa, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. - Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, access control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the industrial facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and document security-related incidents, observations, and irregularities.
- Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and follow applicable laws, company policies, and site requirements while performing armed duties.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or 3 years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
