Business Analyst - Pricing Analyst

Salary: $88,400 - 88,400 per year Requirements:
- Bachelors degree
- 3–5 years of experience in a business or analytics role; entry-level candidates may be considered with strong Excel and analytical skills
- Expert-level Microsoft Excel proficiency, including VLOOKUPs, formulas, and pivot tables; macros/VBA are preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently with numbers and datasets, connect Excel analysis to business profitability, and deliver accurate work under tight deadlines
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Professional, adaptable, and comfortable working independently
- Fortune 500 or corporate experience preferred; home appliance or B2B industry experience is a plus
- Salesforce experience is beneficial but not required; training is available
- Revenue planning experience is preferred but not required
- Pricing-specific experience is preferred
- Prepare detailed quotations using templates and pricing structures
- Review customer requirements and specifications to identify suitable products and pricing
- Work with sales teams to collect information needed to prepare quotes
- Use advanced Excel tools, such as formulas, pivot tables, and macros, to calculate and analyze data
- Create and maintain opportunities, products, price books, and quotes in Salesforce
- Keep quoted materials accurate and consistent
- Update internal stakeholders on quote status
- Review approximately 15–20 Salesforce quotes each day, assess pricing within approved parameters, provide initial approval, and escalate exceptions to the team lead
- Maintain accurate quote data throughout the sales cycle

We are recruiting for a Business Analyst II – Pricing Analyst role with Samsung, a globally recognized Fortune Global 500 consumer electronics and technology company known for smartphones, televisions, home appliances, and semiconductor innovation. The position is based fully onsite in Plano, Texas, and pays $42.50 per hour. It is a 12-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension or conversion to full-time employment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week. The interview is a single virtual panel with both hiring managers and includes a live Excel skills test.
