As a Bookkeeper and Payroll Supervisor, you will help lead our team of talented accounting professionals who assist clients with general bookkeeping and payroll services, including performing monthly account reconciliations and preparing financial statements./ph3Responsibilities/h3ulliOversee bookkeeping/payroll engagements and ensure client expectations and deliverables are met/liliSupervise, develop, and train staff while managing deadlines/liliReview monthly, quarterly, or annual financial statements using cash basis or accrual basis accounting/liliProvide guidance and support for complex accounting matters/liliMaintain and develop new and existing client relationships/liliContinual development and growth of the Client Accounting Services (CAS) practice/liliAbility to work independently as well as within a team/liliThis position is based out of our Wheeling, WV office and requires regular in-office work. A hybrid schedule may be considered after training is successfully completed (typically after 90 days)/liliAvailability to travel to clients when necessary/li/ulh3Qualifications/h3ulliBachelors degree in accounting (preferred), finance, economics, business, or related/liliMinimum of 7+ years of related bookkeeper experience, including managing a team and developing/growing the CAS business/liliKnowledge and experience with payroll processing and related tax fillings/liliRelated certification(s) preferred/liliProficient in Microsoft Suite and accounting software (i.e. QuickBooks, Accounting CS, Sage)/liliStrong attention to detail and ability to think critically/liliExcellent verbal and written communication skills/liliHighly organized with good time management skills/li/ulpWe offer a well-rounded package to eligible employees that focuses on our employees wellbeing.
