What You’ll Do

• Perform  code-compliant welding on vessels and piping using SMAW, GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), and/or FCAW processes.
• Follow approved  Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)and applicable ASME/welding codes.
• Weld pipe in multiple positions, including 6G .
• Read and interpret  blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings .
• Perform cutting, grinding, fitting, and other fabrication tasks as needed.
• Produce welds that meet  visual, radiographic (RT), and ultrasonic (UT) inspection standards .
• Complete and maintain required  weld and quality-control documentation .
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable  OSHA requirements .
• Maintain a clean, safe, and productive work area.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven pipe welding experience in an industrial, fabrication, or oil & gas environment.
• Experience welding  carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloys .
• Strong understanding of welding processes, procedures, and applicable codes.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret weld symbols.
• Ability to  pass an ASME 6G pipe welding test .
• Experience producing welds that can pass visual and NDE inspections.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Safety-minded with a solid understanding of OSHA requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Willingness to work  overtime and occasional weekends as project needs require.
