Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology Nurse

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift with a 4x10-hour schedule from 07:00 to 19:30. On-call requirement of one weekday and one weekend per month.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology Nurse with a passion for patient care. You will be responsible for providing care during cardiac catheterizations and interventional radiology procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac catheterizations and assist with interventional radiology procedures.
• Administer blood products and manage cardioversion/defibrillation as needed.
• Obtain 12 lead EKGs and monitoring of procedural sedation.
• Manage cooling/warming blankets and syringe pumps.
• Conduct sheath removal and monitoring post-procedure.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology setting.
• Current certifications in ACLS and BLS.
• Experience in blood/blood product administration and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias.
