Tool Design Engineer Mfg & Engineering
Location: Laurens, SC Pay: $80-100K + bonus Schedule: M-F; 1st shift
Our client is a global manufacturer and a leader in their industry. Great team environment and excellent benefits package. They are looking for you, an experienced Tool Design Engineer on a direct hire basis. What you get to do:
- Modify, design and develop tool designs for the manufacturing process
- Provide setup specs to manufacturing
- Assist in CNC programming
- Collaborate with production, quality and engineering on design requirements
- Select materials, components and supplies to meet tooling needs
- Administer the testing process including installation, setup and testing of tools while maintaining related analytics
What you need to succeed:
- Mechanical Engineering degree
- 3+ years experience with tool and die engineering processes
- Machining experience making tools or molds
- Design experience
- SAP and Solidworks experience is a plus
