Sanitation AssociateThe Sanitation Associate (Product Service Support Technician) is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment while assisting with animal care activities, material handling, and facility support functions. This role operates on a Monday to Friday schedule, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.Responsibilities:Clean and/or change animal cages and associated equipment.Assist with animal enrichment activities.Support deliveries from both internal and external sources.Stock, rotate, and store supplies.Construct various transport boxes.Use loading and transporting equipment, such as carts and pallet trucks.Support the transport and dispatch of animal shipments, samples, equipment, and consumables.Provide general housekeeping and waste removal to ensure a clean and safe environment.Operate decontamination and sanitation equipment as needed.Essential Skills:Experience in a sanitation role such as Janitor or Housekeeper.Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.Ability to follow sterile entry procedures and maintain neat, clean, and safe conditions.Skills to accurately record, calculate, and maintain detailed records.Capability to work as a team member.English communication skills reading, writing, and oral.Additional Skills & Qualifications:Experience with a cleaning background.Experience cleaning pet/animal cages.Why Work Here?Join our team and enjoy comprehensive health benefits including dental and vision insurance. The role requires standing, lifting, and repetitive motion throughout the shift. Although there is exposure to animals, you will not be required to touch or handle them.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
