Make an immediate impact working with elementary students by providing speech-language services in a school-based contract opportunity. This full-time, onsite position focuses on supporting a diverse group of 30-40 elementary students to help them achieve communication milestones in a nurturing learning environment. The assignment runs through June 18, 2027, offering consistent hours and a rewarding daily experience.

Desired Background and Qualifications:

• Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred
• Knowledge of developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet individual student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders for students in an elementary school setting
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
• Track student progress, document therapy sessions, and maintain compliance with state and district requirements
• Participate in meetings and contribute to school initiatives aimed at fostering student growth
• Stay current on best practices in pediatric speech therapy and contribute innovative ideas to support students’ success
