Machine Operator – Hand Assembly / Repair Location: Troy, MI Job Type: Full‑time – Day Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) Overview Oakwood Veneer Company is hiring a full‑time Machine Operator / Hand Assembly and Veneer Repair Associate for our first‑shift manufacturing team in Troy, Michigan. This is a steady full‑time production position in a clean manufacturing facility with no night shifts or mandatory weekends. Schedule & Pay Full‑time – Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM 30‑minute unpaid lunch break No mandatory nights or holidays Pay: $17.05 per hour Job Duties Use hand tools and heated repair irons to repair and assemble wood veneer products. Perform quality inspections and maintain production standards in a fast‑paced setting. Execute repetitive hand movements and maintain work pace throughout the shift. Responsibilities Work directly with veneer materials using hand tools and repair equipment. Maintain quality standards and production efficiency. Assist team members and contribute to a safe, organized work environment. Qualifications Comfortable performing repetitive assembly and hand repair work. Ability to work with small hand tools and detailed materials. Strong attendance and reliability. Ability to stand and use hands for extended periods. Manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, machine operator, production, or general labor experience is helpful but not required. Willingness to learn and follow quality standards.
