Job Description Position: Building Engineer Location: Stow, Massachusetts, Masters Academy International Start Date: July 1, 2026 About the Role Masters Academy International is seeking a skilled and dependable Building Engineer to ensure the safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of our campus facilities. This pivotal role is responsible for maintaining critical building systems—HVAC, electrical, and plumbing—while proactively addressing maintenance needs to support a high‑quality learning environment. What You Will Do As a Building Engineer at Masters Academy International, you will be the primary guardian of our campus infrastructure, ensuring the safe and uninterrupted operation of all facility systems. You will diagnose malfunctions and execute repairs ranging from minor carpentry and painting to complex technical troubleshooting. You will also conduct regular hazard inspections, support emergency preparedness protocols, and maintain strict compliance with OSHA standards. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred. Experience: 3‑5 years in building engineering, facilities maintenance, or a similar role. Expertise: Demonstrated ability in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems; ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics; familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) is preferred. Knowledge: Local, state, and federal safety regulations, including OSHA standards and school safety policies; ability to conduct regular safety inspections and address hazards proactively.
