Part-Time Mother’s Helper / Babysitter Needed for 7-Month-Old

We’re looking for a warm, reliable, and caring part-time mother’s helper/babysitter to help care for our sweet 7-month-old daughter in Alexandria, VA. We’re looking for someone approximately 3 days per week, around 12–15 hours total per week. Our preferred hours are generally in the afternoon, but we are flexible on the exact days and times for the right person. We both work from home, so one or both parents will generally be home while you’re here. I am also breastfeeding, so I will continue to nurse her as needed and will handle diaper changes. We’re mainly looking for someone who can keep her engaged and cared for while we work. Playing with and engaging our daughter Helping with naps Reading, playing, and doing age-appropriate activities Taking her for walks or spending time outside Helping keep her play area and baby items tidy Helping with bottles/solids as needed We are looking for someone who is dependable, patient, affectionate, and genuinely enjoys spending time with babies. Infant experience is preferred, but we are open to someone who is responsible and comfortable with babies. We would prefer someone who has their own car and is CPR certified. This is a great position for someone looking for consistent part-time hours rather than a full-time nanny position. We are hoping to find someone who can become a familiar and trusted person in our daughter’s routine and stay with us long-term.
