Deployment Project Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Deployment Project Manager based in the United States. The Deployment Project Manager will lead the end-to-end delivery of highly complex, multi-year powerhouse projects. You will coordinate execution from design integration and site development through construction, startup, commissioning, and operational turnover. The role combines strategic project leadership with hands-on execution across technical, commercial, regulatory, and operational workstreams. You will bring structure to ambiguity, manage critical dependencies, and keep teams aligned around milestones, risks, and delivery objectives. Working closely with internal teams, contractors, regulators, customers, vendors, and executive stakeholders, you will drive informed decisions and clear communication. Accountabilities: - Lead end-to-end execution of complex powerhouse facility deployments from design integration through construction, startup, commissioning, and turnover to operations. - Maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, execution tools, and delivery tracking mechanisms. - Identify, manage, and escalate project risks, issues, dependencies, and changes while protecting critical-path, licensing, regulatory, and commercial objectives. - Lead project governance routines, including status reviews, stage-gate reviews, project updates, and executive reporting. - Develop and implement mitigation strategies for risks and execution challenges. - Communicate project status, recommendations, priorities, and strategic insights to project teams, leadership, customers, and external stakeholders. - Support permitting, licensing, facility modifications, equipment installations, and infrastructure upgrade initiatives.

- Oversee contractor performance, procurement activities, material sourcing, and project deliverables. - Serve as the central coordination point among internal teams, customers, contractors, vendors, regulators, and other external partners. - Contribute to technical strategy, execution planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. - Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable quality, regulatory, and operational requirements. - Travel approximately 25%–40% as required, including regular travel to headquarters or other designated locations. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Nuclear Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline. - At least 5 years of project management experience leading complex technical, engineering, construction, manufacturing, or operational projects. - Demonstrated experience managing project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, milestones, and cross-functional dependencies. - Ability to lead teams, remove blockers, coordinate interfaces, and communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. - Strong organizational, analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving capabilities. - Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment in a fast-moving, evolving environment with limited resources and changing priorities. - Proficiency with project planning, scheduling, collaboration, and execution tools. - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail. - Creative, proactive, and comfortable developing solutions when established processes do not fully address a problem. - Collaborative and team-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
