A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) in a school setting located in Newark, DE. This contract position offers the chance to provide essential health services to students and staff in an educational environment, ensuring a safe and healthy school community.

Responsibilities:

Deliver nursing care to students with acute and chronic health conditions
Perform health screenings, manage immunization records, and provide first aid as needed
Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to develop individualized healthcare plans
Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with health policies and regulations
Educate students and staff on health promotion and disease prevention
Respond promptly to emergencies and provide crisis management support

Qualifications:

Valid RN license for the state of Delaware
Experience working as a school nurse or in a pediatric healthcare setting preferred
Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
CPR and First Aid certification required or obtained upon hire
