Pay: $28-34/hour DOE Requirements Be able to work in a fast paced, team environment. Be able to work outdoors in all types of weather. Be able to follow safe operating practices. Be able to read, write and comprehend reports well enough to complete daily assignments. Additional Requirements Valid Class B CDL license with air brake endorsement. Ability to work 50-60 hours a week M-F. No Sundays. Must be physically able to get in and out of the truck multiple times while on route. CDL-A Delivery Driver (McLane) What you'll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition. Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery. Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises. Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions. Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications you'll bring as a CDL-A Teammate At least 21 years of age Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A) At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards. Benefits you can count on Pay Rate: Drivers make $88,000 to $97,000. Top Drivers earn $100,000 +. Up to a $7,500 CDL-A Driver Retention Bonus Pay Structure: Hourly, Miles, Stops, and Cases.
