Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit Nurse

Make a meaningful impact in patient care by providing dedicated nursing support in a Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit. This contract position centers on delivering high-quality care to patients requiring close monitoring and specialized interventions in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) settings
• Proficient in assessment and management of patients with complex conditions
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong communication, documentation, and critical thinking skills
• Flexibility to adapt to rapidly changing patient needs

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients' conditions, responding swiftly to changes in clinical status
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments according to established protocols
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to develop, implement, and revise patient care plans
• Interpret cardiac and other vital monitoring data accurately
• Provide patient and family education regarding care, medications, and recovery
• Document all care activities and interventions thoroughly
• Prioritize and manage multiple patients, ensuring safety and quality care throughout each shift

$1,895 - $2,074/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
