Bringing Ingenuity to Life Job DescriptionPA has been at the forefront of drug delivery device development for over 35 years, serving a global client base of pharma, biotech and device OEMs. PA’s drug delivery team operates globally from its offices in the UK, US and Ireland.We are seeking a Client Engagement Manager to drive growth across Drug Delivery and Medical Device clients, with a focus on US and European markets. This role is responsible for building senior level relationships, identifying high value opportunities, and advancing them through the early stages of the sales pipeline.This is a growth-oriented role that requires strong industry credibility, deep understanding of regulated product development, and the ability to connect client challenges with PA’s design, engineering, and science capabilities. While digital and data capabilities may support client solutions, this role is fundamentally focused on drug delivery and medical device innovation. This role is specifically focused on building new business with:Device OEM and pharma clients looking to develop new drug delivery systems, including injection systems, inhalation devices and wearablesPharma and biotech clients who are developing new drug-device combination products, including those leveraging platforms from third party OEMsIn this role, you will be responsible to:Develop and execute account plans for a prioritized set of drug delivery clientsIdentify, qualify, and progress new business opportunities related to drug delivery systems, combination products, and medical devicesBuild and maintain senior client relationships across R&D, Product Development, Engineering, Clinical, and Commercial leadershipLead early discovery conversations and shape opportunities prior to formal pursuitPosition PA’s capabilities in design, engineering, human factors, systems engineering, and regulatory supportPartner with Principals, technical experts, and delivery teams to transition qualified opportunities into active pursuitsManage early stage pipeline activity in CRM, including stakeholder mapping and engagement trackingRepresent PA at key industry events throughout the yearProvide ongoing market and competitive insights to inform proposition development and growth strategyQualificationsRequired Experience and QualificationsDeep industry experience and network within drug delivery devicesProven experience in business development, consulting sales, or client leadership rolesStrong understanding of regulated product development and lifecycle managementExperience selling engineering, product development, R&D, or technical consulting servicesAbility to engage credibly with senior technical and commercial stakeholdersStrong communication, relationship building, and opportunity shaping skillsPreferred ExperienceBackground in design and engineering consultancy, or life sciences product developmentExperience leading complex, multi‑stakeholder pursuitsAbility to translate technical challenges into compelling business value propositionsAdditional InformationHybrid working - our approach is to be in the office or on client site a minimum of 2 days per week.
