Supervisor Of 3rd Shift Sanitation Team

Supervisor of 3rd Shift Sanitation Team is responsible for tear down and detailed cleaning of all production equipment as well as ensuring entire production facility (production floor, warehouse, and dock) are kept at an impeccable level of cleanliness. Floors and drains must be able to pass a protein swab test at the end of each day. Works with all other teams in facility to perform all operations of food production facility including a variety of duties related to production including filling, restocking, cleaning according to proper USDA/FDA specifications and procedures. Other duties include hot and cold prep, maintaining a clean, safe and sanitized workstation, and at all times is in complete support of all proper USDA methods and manufacturing practices.

Essential duties and responsibilities include supervising team of 5-7 employees responsible for closing and sanitation duties, being extremely detail oriented, prior experience supervising a team of employees, scheduling, and conducting station check outs, teardown and sanitation of all production equipment, stocking and sanitation of every inch of production floor daily, cleaning of dishes and machine parts, organization of parts carts and dish areas, detail cleaning and organization of all coolers and freezers, sweeping and cleaning of dock and warehouse areas daily, knowing how to use a scale, understanding and adhering to government regulations and documentation requirements, complying with USDA and HACCP programs, following Allergen Management Program, minor equipment maintenance, assigning master sanitation schedule execution, having a friendly personality and great attitude, and flexibility in job assignments.

Mathematical skills include ability to work with probability and statistical inference, fundamentals of weights and measures, ratios, and proportions for ingredient and nutritional information.

Physical demands include frequently reaching with hands and arms, talking or hearing, regularly standing, stooping, kneeling, and walking, occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, and specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Work environment is moderate to loud noise, quick paced in close quarters, frequent exposure to heat from equipment and products, and occasional exposure to cool temperatures from coolers/freezers.

Language skills include reading, analyzing, and interpreting ingredient specifications and recipes, general business periodicals, and governmental regulations, and effectively presenting information and responding to questions from customers, staff, and owners.
