Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to read work orders, production instructions, and basic manufacturing documentation. Experience Requirements Minimum 6 months to 1 year of Brake Press, Press Brake, Machine Operator, Metal Fabrication, Sheet Metal, or Manufacturing experience required. Experience reading blueprints, shop drawings, and production specifications. Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to verify product quality. Preferred Qualifications Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality metal components. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to make basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot equipment issues. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a production team to meet daily manufacturing goals. Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety. Physical Capabilities Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Frequently bend, stoop, reach, and move around production equipment. Regularly handle, position, and move metal materials. Lift and move materials as required in a manufacturing environment. Safely perform work in a fast-paced industrial setting. Job Duties Set up and operate brake press equipment to bend and form metal parts according to blueprints and specifications. Select and install tooling, punches, and dies for production runs. Position materials accurately and monitor machine performance throughout production. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy. Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain production standards. Complete quality and production documentation, report equipment or quality concerns, and follow all safety procedures. Maintain a clean work area, perform routine machine cleaning, and assist with basic preventive maintenance.
