What You'll Do As a Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with children under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to help clients develop essential life and communication skills. Responsibilities include: Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy following individualized treatment plans. Implement behavior intervention strategies designed by a BCBA. Collect accurate session data and document client progress. Teach communication, social, play, academic, and daily living skills using evidence-based practices. Support clients with activities of daily living when appropriate, including toileting, dressing, hygiene, and feeding. Facilitate social skills groups and structured activities when assigned. Collaborate with BCBAs, families, and other members of the treatment team to support client progress. Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment. Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and professional development. Qualifications Education High school diploma or GED required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred. Experience 1-2 years of ABA experience preferred. Experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities preferred. Childcare, teaching assistant, classroom, or behavioral health experience is highly valued. Certification Candidates without an RBT credential must be willing to obtain certification within 60 days of employment. Adina ABA provides certification training and support. Additional Requirements Must be at least 18 years old. CPR certification and Handle With Care (HWC) training must be completed within 30 days of employment. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between client locations as needed (up to 25%). Availability Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
