SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Penn State Health Medical Group Middletown office is located minutes outside of Hummelstown and sees, on average, 150‑180 patients a day. This office houses several specialties including Adult and Pediatric Rheumatology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Dermatology, Minimally Invasive Surgery, Bariatrics and Family Medicine. Operating on a daytime schedule during the weekday, the selected LPN will have a mix of clinical and clerical duties. In the clinical capacity you will prepare rooms, room patients, conduct point‑of‑care labs, and assist providers with in‑house procedures. In the clerical capacity you will monitor messages from patients and providers, stock rooms, and assist with phone calls from patients. Middletown is seeking an LPN who is a strong communicator and works both independently and in a team setting.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S)

Currently licensed to practice as an LPN in the state of employment or holds a multistate LPN license through the Interstate Nurse Licensure Compact. Basic Life Support (BLS) required prior to completion of orientation.
