Heavy civil site foreman

Heavy Civil Site Foreman / Superintendent Grabowski Construction is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Site Foreman / Superintendent to join our team and lead field operations on complex sitework projects. We are looking for a highly capable field leader with strong real-world experience in heavy civil construction, site development, underground utilities, earthwork, and drainage infrastructure. This role requires someone who can confidently manage crews, operate equipment when needed, read plans in detail, and keep projects moving safely and efficiently from start to finish. Responsibilities Lead and manage field crews on active construction sites Coordinate daily operations, manpower, equipment, and materials Read and fully understand blueprints, grading plans, utility plans, and cut sheets Layout work and ensure elevations, slopes, and grades are executed correctly Oversee excavation, mass grading, cuts/fills, and site preparation Manage installation of underground utilities including sewer, water, storm, and drainage systems Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and engineers Identify and solve field issues before they impact schedule or production Required Experience Qualified candidates should have strong knowledge of: Heavy civil/site construction operations Excavation and earthwork Site grading and drainage flow Cuts and fills Underground utility installation Complex drainage systems and structures Sewer, water, and storm utility tie-ins Jobsite setup, sequencing, and logistics Production management and crew leadership Candidates should also be experienced with: Excavators Loaders Laser and grade equipment Trimble technology and site positioning systems Who You Are You are dependable, organized, and take pride in running a clean, productive, and safe jobsite.
