Job Title: Packaging Machine Operator

Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire

Location: Greer, South Carolina

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: 1st Shift: Monday Thursday, 4:30 AM 3:00 PM | 2nd Shift: Monday Thursday, 2:45 PM 1:15 AM | Overtime as Needed

Job Summary: Allegiance Staffing is seeking experienced Packaging Machine Operators for a high-volume foam board insulation manufacturing facility in Greer, SC. The ideal candidate has previous machine operating experience, a stable work history, and a strong commitment to safety and quality. This role is responsible for operating packaging equipment, maintaining production flow, and supporting multiple production areas in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position requires working in a non-climate-controlled facility with high heat, dust, and fiberglass exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate packaging machinery efficiently to meet daily production goals
• Off-load, stack, and prepare finished products for shipment
• Maintain consistent production flow while meeting quality standards
• Perform routine equipment monitoring and report mechanical issues as needed
• Cross-train and assist in multiple production areas as required
• Operate a forklift when necessary (if qualified)
• Follow all company safety policies and standard operating procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout each shift
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient production

Required Qualifications:

• Previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Stable work history (23 years per employer preferred within the last five years)
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds throughout the shift
• Ability to work in a hot, dusty, non-climate-controlled environment with fiberglass exposure
• Willingness to cross-train in multiple production departments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift operating experience
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing or packaging operations
• Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
