Jr. Field Service Engineer

Jr. Field Service Engineer As a Jr. Field Service Engineer at Baker Hughes, you will provide services ranging from standard maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and calibration of Waygate Technologies equipment, including Phoenix 2D & 3D CT X‑ray testing machines, at Waygate and customer locations. Expected travel exceeds 70%. Responsibilities Maintain, repair, and install industrial x‑ray systems and peripheral equipment such as X‑ray tubes, generators, coolers, scanners, stepper motors/controllers, power supplies, high‑voltage control circuits, motion control and high‑end PCs. Provide technical support to customers via phone and on‑site service. Complete standard service reports, invoicing packages, and other administrative requirements in a timely manner. Drive customer satisfaction through commitment to quality service standards. Monitor site safety during work scope execution. Required Qualifications Four‑year technical degree in Electronics (BSEET, BSEE) or Mechanics (BSMET, BSME). Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Willingness to submit to a background investigation, including verification of past employment, criminal history, driving record and educational background. Ability to travel up to 70% of the time for work. Valid driver’s license and passport (or ability to obtain one). Current U.S. citizenship status. Residence within driving distance to an airport. Benefits & Compensation Annual pay scale: $76,280.00 – $141,590.00. Travel paid, including travel time and overtime pay for shifts exceeding eight hours, plus travel expenses.
