Territory Account Manager

BlephEx, LLC.

The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will be responsible for covering a defined territory and will focus on a defined target list of doctors/accounts within the territory. The TAM will focus creating demand for Meibum Scientific products by focusing on the total office to assure the needs of all partners are met and must be able to develop relationships and maintain an active presence in the eye care community and associated organizations. Responsibilities Achieve territory sales objectives including the successful placement of OptiVize in 4 practices each month with each practice generating at least 20 procedures per month. Collaborate with partners, internally and externally, to drive business results and advance customer relations. Manage the sales budget and grow sales across the territory through development of impactful demand creation activities, strategic territory planning and engaging communications. Build disease awareness with key partners, validated understanding of treatment initiation processes, patient identification etc. Grow relationships and communications with all partners and communities to develop solid understanding of treatment algorithm and business dynamics within accounts. Employ business planning and local market knowledge to develop sales and customer networks. Cover and visit all customers in the area of responsibility according to their strategic importance and potential. Prospect the market for new accounts and identify growth opportunities. Manage accounts for all business-related aspects (sales, negotiation, development, relation with owner and managers, define solutions for customer needs). Develop excellent and fruitful relations with customers and opinion leaders. Participate, develop and conduct different meetings and events (congresses, round tables, trainings). Establish and present action plans in order to achieve sales target. Plan and track agreed account metrics and communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly. Keep constant touch on market evolution. Organize trainings, educational programs and product presentations. Implement medically relevant programs to effect significant customer satisfaction and sales. Qualifications The ability to navigate a computer – Record information and create basic business reports. The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English. 3 Years of relevant successful experience in sales account management. Preferred Requirements University Degree (Preferred: Graduate in Natural Science (chemistry, biology, physics)). 2 years in Health Care Industry (preferred eye care pharmaceutical or medical device field). Technical learning and agility. High-energy, self-starter as well as collaborative team player. Result oriented with strong drive to make it happen. Willingness to accept constructive feedback, thrive in a flexible learning environment and professionally challenge status quo. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
