Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

OB/GYN Physician Location: Colorado Springs, CO Job Type: Locum Tenens Overview: A hospital and clinic-based opportunity is available for an OB/GYN physician to provide a mix of inpatient, outpatient, and call coverage. This role includes managing obstetric and gynecologic care in a collaborative group setting. Open rates Schedule: Hospital: 24-hour in-house shifts (8:00 AM 8:00 AM) Clinic: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Call Schedule: 1:5 day call 1:10 night and weekend call Practice Details: Setting: Hospital and clinic EMR: Epic Onsite lab and ultrasound (performed by technicians) Team includes OB/GYN physicians and advanced practice providers No supervision of APPs required Patient Volume: Clinic: 20 patients per day Deliveries: 8 per week Surgeries: 8 per week Case Mix: 70% low-risk obstetrics 10% high-risk obstetrics 30% C-sections Responsibilities: Provide outpatient OB/GYN care Manage labor and delivery patients Perform surgical procedures as needed Participate in call coverage Collaborate with care team Required Procedures: Vaginal deliveries and C-sections Management of low-risk obstetric patients Fetal heart rate interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) Management of complicated deliveries (e.g., breech, multiple births) VBACs Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations Preferred Procedures: High-risk obstetrics management OB ultrasound interpretation Minor gynecologic procedures (IUD, colposcopy, LEEP, etc.) Requirements: Board Certified OB/GYN Required Active Colorado License or IMLC Required Clean background Required Must be able to perform required procedures Required NPDB Self-Query (within 30 days) Required Credentialing: Must be able to obtain privileges prior to start by Jobble
