Travel Radiology Technologist - $1,588 per week

Job Details Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Portland, Oregon. The position requires 40 hours per week with 8‑hour days. Required Qualifications One year's experience as a Radiologic Technologist Current Radiologic Technologist / Radiography license in compliance with state regulations Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) Preferred Qualifications Current ARRT Certification Other certifications and licenses may be required for this position Essential Work Functions Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high‑quality diagnostic images according to physician orders Maintain equipment and sterilize the room in which procedures take place Evaluate images for quality, present images and preliminary findings to physicians and the health‑care team Maintain and inspect imaging equipment for proper functionality, troubleshoot issues, and report malfunctions as needed Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records Follow hospital safety rules and procedures, including infection control and radiation safety protocols Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice Required Essential Skills Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language Ability to read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills Physical Abilities – must be able to remain in a stationary position, move equipment (50–100 lbs), push, pull, and bend Interpersonal Skills – must work effectively with a variety of personnel to present a positive attitude and professionalism Technical/Motor Skills – must grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment Mental Requirements – cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers, meet deadlines under pressure, work under close supervision occasionally, and maintain continuous concentration on detail Sensory – possess visual acuity and effective communication skills Other Duties Disclaimer To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
