What You'll Do

Provide OB hospitalist coverage at a leading hospital in Meridian, MS
Collaborate with in-house anesthesia team for patient care
Manage patient encounters related to obstetrics and gynecology, averaging approximately 15 monthly obstetric encounters and 184 gynecology encounters
Support the delivery of care in a Level 1 NICU setting
Follow hospital protocols using Epic EMR system
Cover a flexible schedule to meet unit needs
Participate in on-call duties, providing backup OB/GYN coverage when needed

What You Need

Valid Mississippi medical license (or willing to obtain)
Prior experience in OB hospitalist or related specialties
Ability to work 24-hour shifts
Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred:

Experience in a hospitalist or OB setting
Familiarity with Epic EMR system

About the Assignment This assignment takes place at a leading healthcare facility in Meridian, Mississippi, providing essential obstetric and gynecologic care. The hospital handles approximately 884 births annually and operates a Level 1 Basic NICU. You will be part of a dedicated team supporting maternity care in a supportive environment, with in-house anesthesia available 24/7.
