•Shift Schedule: AM Surgery / PM Clinic
•Call Schedule: Continuous Call Coverage During Assignment

PATIENT INFORMATION
•Patient Demographics: Adult Cardiothoracic Surgery Patients
•Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 2-5 Inpatients
•Admissions: Yes
•Rounding: ICU/Post-Operative Rounding
•Phone Consults: Cath Lab, Inpatient, and ER
•Case Mix: CABG, AVR, Urgent Cardiothoracic Surgery

FACILITY INFORMATION
•No. of Beds in Department: 220+ Hospital Beds
•Trauma Level: Level III
•EMR System: Epic
•Office Equipment Available: Standard CT Surgery Clinic
•Specialty Backup Available: Full Cardiology Program Including TAVR
•Support Staff Available: Multidisciplinary Surgical Team

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
•Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
•Credentialing Timeline: 30-60 Days

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
•CABG
•Aortic Valve Replacement (AVR)
•TAVR
•Emergency Cardiothoracic Surgery

JOB REQUIREMENTS
•Active Indiana Medical License
•Board Certified
•Active DEA Preferred
•BLS (AHA)
•Experience: More Than 2 Years
•Clean Background; Flu/COVID Vaccination or Approved Exemption

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Perform scheduled cardiothoracic surgery
•Conduct afternoon clinic
•Round on post-operative ICU patients
•Take Cath Lab, inpatient, and ER call
•Complete order entry in Epic
