Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital environment. Candidates must demonstrate strong clinical skills and ability to manage a diverse patient population effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions promptly upon arrival and prioritize care.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Monitor patient vital signs and document findings accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment procedures and post-discharge care.
• Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, safety standards, and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Ohio license or Compact State license in hand at the time of submission.
• Possess a minimum of 18 months recent ER experience in a permanent capacity.
• Maintain active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications at submission; TNCC preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments.
• Provide two recent professional references from managers, supervisors, or directors within the past 12 months.
• Pass both ECG and safeMedicate assessments with an acceptable score on the first attempt.
