Job DescriptionNurse Practitioner - Part-Time FloatConvenient Care / Urgent Care / Walk-In ClinicsLocation: Missouri & KansasSchedule: Part-Time (0.6 FTE, 24 hours/week)Shifts: 12-hour shifts; every 3rd weekend rotationPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and adaptable Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team in a part-time float role supporting Convenient Care, Urgent Care, and Walk-In Clinic locations across Missouri and Kansas. A part-time float does not have a permanent clinic, but will travel to any of the 8 convenient care and 3 urgent care locations throughout the KC metro. The schedule is variable in order to cover vacations, absences, or help with volumes at busy locations. Part-time APPs work 24 hours a week, with some opportunity for more hours if desired. This position is ideal for a provider who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values autonomy in delivering high-quality patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality, patient-centered care in retail and urgent care clinic settingsConduct comprehensive physical assessments and develop appropriate treatment plansPerform, order, and interpret diagnostic testsDiagnose and treat a variety of acute and chronic conditionsDeliver health maintenance, disease prevention, and wellness educationSupport health promotion initiatives within the clinic settingUtilize strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skillsFloat between clinic locations and adjust scheduling to meet patient demand and market needsQualificationsLicensed Nurse Practitioner (APRN) in Missouri and Kansas (or ability to obtain)National certification as a Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC)Ability to practice independently within scopeFlexibility to travel between clinic locationsStrong communication and patient engagement skillsPreferred ExperienceIdeal background in urgent care, convenient care, or retail clinic settingsAlso welcomes experience in Emergency Department (ED), Med-Surg, or ICU settingsNew graduates are encouraged to apply if they have prior RN experience in ED, Med-Surg, or ICUCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base pay, with eligibility for:Quality incentive programProductivity bonusFlexible part-time schedule (24 hours/week) with 12-hour shiftsPredictable every 3rd weekend rotationOpportunity to work across diverse clinical settingsSupportive and collaborative care environmentWhy Join Us?This role offers the opportunity to practice at the top of your license while gaining exposure to diverse patient populations and care environments.
