Their facilities boast exceptional services in independent living, assisted living, memory care, rehabilitation, and more.Position DescriptionThe Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADON) reports to and supports the Director of Nursing Services (DON). The duties of the ADON role include, but are not limited to:Participate in regular reviews to identify improvement opportunities to nursing serviceSupervise delivery of treatments to residentsDevelop and maintain staff schedulesLead performance evaluations for LPNs / LVNsAssist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring nursing staffMeet with prospective and current residents to discuss any issues or needsReview pre-admission medical evaluations for residentsAssist in collecting resident personal information for admissionEvaluate resident functioning levelsParticipate in resident health maintenance meetingsCoordinate with physicians and other healthcare providers to update care plansDirectly supervise nursing personnel in the absence of the DONPerform staff nurse duties when requiredAssist in developing improvement plans when neededThis role works closely with residents, families, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure that residents receive high-quality, patient-centered care.RequirementsMaryland RN license2+ years RN experienceExperience in long-term care environments strongly preferredBSN preferredTo apply for this position, please send your resume to Jenn Kunkel at View email address on click.appcast.io or call View phone number on click.appcast.io.
