Job Details:


• 13-week contract with a guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 12-hour variable shifts with the following shift times available: Day shift 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM, PM shifts 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM, and 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, Night shift 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Possibility for on-call requirement, though rarely occurs and would be asked in advance
• No float requirements
• Trauma Level II experience required; prior travel experience preferred, or 2 years of Trauma Level I or II experience required if no prior travel experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Required certifications: WI RN License, BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (ARC or AHA)
• EKG exam required during compliance
• EPIC charting experience required
• Work in an 18-bed Trauma Level II unit that is stroke certified and serves cardiac, neuro, pediatric, geriatric, and respiratory patients
• Fast-paced environment with 3-4 patients per nurse
• Responsibilities include drawing labs, administering nebulizer treatments, and working alongside in-house lab, respiratory therapy, and on-site X-ray staff
• Pyxis medication dispenser utilized on unit
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, able to manage independently, complete tasks timely, and manage change well
• Scrub colors: Any color

This facility is a Trauma Level II hospital featuring an 18-bed emergency department that is stroke certified and provides comprehensive care across multiple specialties including cardiac, neurology, pediatrics, geriatrics, and respiratory services. The facility maintains in-house laboratory and respiratory therapy services along with on-site radiology staff dedicated to the emergency department, ensuring a full continuum of support for the care team.
