Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client's healthcare facility in Kingsport, TN. 

Job Details: 
Schedule:  Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM EST
Location:  Kingsport, TN 37660
Job Type: Local contract 
Contract Length: 4+ months

Pay Range: $19 to $21/hour*
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.  

Duties: 

• Perform venipuncture and collect high-quality blood specimens
• Perform pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• Handle clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing according to established procedures
• Verify patient demographic information and required documentation
• Obtain patient signatures following venipuncture when required
• Verify specimen labels and ensure accurate patient identification
• Maintain required records and documentation
• Explain collection procedures clearly and professionally to patients
• Create a welcoming, comfortable, and trustworthy patient experience

Requirements: 

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Years of experience: Minimum 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience – REQUIRED
• Skills/Specialties/Technology: Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections .
