Overview:

The Well is looking for an IT Administrator who is excited about using technology to support people doing incredible work in our communities. This is a growth-oriented IT role with hands-on experience across user support, Microsoft 365, devices, software, EHR systems, networking, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and technology projects. We are willing to train the right person and will help them develop deeper skills in the areas of IT they are most interested in. What You'll DoHelp Our Team Use Technology Successfully

Our Team Members provide behavioral health, recovery, and community services across Northeast Nebraska. Your job is to make sure technology helps them do that work—not gets in their way.

You'll:

• Provide hands-on technology support to Team Members across The Well.
• Troubleshoot computers, software, phones, tablets, printers, connectivity, and other technology.
• Set up technology for new Team Members and maintain equipment throughout its lifecycle.
• Help people understand technology without making them feel like they should already know the answer.
• Create simple instructions, training, and resources when recurring questions come up.
• Monitor IT requests and help keep issues moving toward resolution.

Administer Microsoft 365 & Cloud Systems

You'll help manage and continuously improve our Microsoft environment, including:

• Microsoft 365
• Entra ID
• Intune/MDM
• Teams
• SharePoint
• Outlook
• User accounts, groups, permissions, and licensing
• Device policies and security controls

You'll also have opportunities to explore new Microsoft tools and identify ways technology can make our work easier and more efficient.

Work Across a Wide Range of Technology

Healthcare and behavioral health technology brings some interesting challenges. You'll gain experience supporting and learning systems that may include:

• Electronic Health Records
• Clinical and business software
• Cybersecurity tools
• Mobile devices
• Networking, firewalls, and VPNs
• Phone and communication systems
• Cloud applications
• Data and reporting tools
• Workflow and automation tools

 

Take On Projects

This isn't only a help-desk position.

As The Well grows, you'll have opportunities to participate in and eventually lead technology projects such as:

• Implementing new software
• Deploying devices and technology to new programs or locations
• Improving cybersecurity
• Building or improving SharePoint and Teams environments
• Evaluating technology solutions
• Improving workflows and reducing manual processes
• Upgrading infrastructure
• Coordinating technology vendors
• Testing new tools and determining whether they could benefit the organization

Technical Background

Although not required, preferred qualifications include:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field OR equivalent education, certifications, experience, or demonstrated technical ability
• Experience supporting computers, software, mobile devices, or networks
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365
• Understanding of basic networking concepts
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software

Experience with tools such as Microsoft 365, Entra, Intune, SharePoint, Teams, networking, firewalls, VPNs, EHR systems, or cybersecurity platforms is a plus—but we do not expect applicants to already know every system we use.

Compliance & Security

Because The Well provides behavioral health services, protecting information is a critical part of our work.

You'll learn and help maintain technology practices related to:

• HIPAA
• 42 CFR Part 2
• Information security
• Access controls
• Device security
• Organizational IT policies and procedures

Prior healthcare or behavioral health IT experience is helpful, but not required.

Additional Requirements

• Valid driver's license, insured vehicle, and ability to travel between The Well locations as needed; mileage is reimbursed.
• Ability to lift and move technology equipment weighing up to approximately 40 pounds.
• Ability to perform routine computer and office work for extended periods.
• At least two years of sobriety if diagnosed with a substance use disorder.
