Assignment Highlights: Start Date: January 6, 2025 End Date: January 11, 2025 Setting: Inpatient and outpatient coverage required Hospital Capacity: 86-bed facility Call Type: Beeper with a 30-minute response time Patients Per Shift: Based on hospital census and follow-ups Call Volume: 0-10 patients, 100% callback rate Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive cardiology care, including both inpatient rounds and outpatient consultations Interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs and ECHOs Support clinic operations, starting with 2 hours per day and scaling up as needed Participate in call rotations and manage urgent cases Required Qualifications: Licensure: Active North Carolina medical license or eligibility Certifications: ACLS required Experience: Non-invasive cardiology expertise preferred Board Status: Board-certified or board-eligible Additional Details: Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 60-90 days Onsite Support: Collaborative hospitalists manage admissions and consults Special Skills Needed: Non-invasive cardiology, echocardiography, STEMI care, and ICU familiarity Why Choose This Opportunity?
