Job Summary:
The Senior Security Architect / Information Security Analyst Senior is responsible for leading architecture review efforts and supporting advanced penetration testing activities to ensure robust cybersecurity posture. This role involves assessing network and cloud infrastructures, analyzing security controls, identifying vulnerabilities, and developing remediation strategies to protect organizational assets.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Security Architect / Information Security Analyst Senior is responsible for leading architecture review efforts and supporting advanced penetration testing activities to ensure robust cybersecurity posture. This role involves assessing network and cloud infrastructures, analyzing security controls, identifying vulnerabilities, and developing remediation strategies to protect organizational assets.
Responsibilities:
- Assess network architecture and trust boundaries
- Review system configurations for security compliance
- Analyze security controls to identify weaknesses
- Identify attack vectors and opportunities for lateral movement
- Evaluate cloud infrastructure security (Azure and AWS)
- Develop remediation recommendations to mitigate risks
- Support penetration test planning and execution
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- 7+ years of cybersecurity experience
- 5+ years of security architecture experience
- Experience with federal security assessments
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)
- CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)
- CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional)
- CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
- Experience with Azure and AWS security
- Network segmentation review expertise
- Knowledge of NIST 800-53 assessments
- FISMA compliance experience
- May require adherence to federal security protocols and standards
- Potential involvement in sensitive or classified environments
- Standard full-time schedule with possible on-call or extended hours during critical assessments or incident response
