Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer

Cardiac SonographerBaylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer for a full-time inpatient and ER opportunity. The position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. The schedule is variable, with hours from 7:30a to 5pm, and requires flexibility to work extended hours when needed. Call includes weekends and holidays, starting at 5:30pm on Friday and ending at 7:00am on Monday. Travel is required 1-2 times a month, rotational, to a continuing care facility across town to perform echoes.Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited technical or associates degree program in radiology and two years' professional experience with intermediate level echocardiography or vascular skills.Must be proficient in transthoracic echocardiography.Teach and share knowledge base with fellows, team members, and participate in training cardiology fellows and students during clinical rotations.Familiarity with Philips iE33/EPIQ systems.Basic Life Support (BLS) in 30 days of hire or transfer.Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Reg Diag Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through Cardio Credentialing Intl.
