Job Details:

Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) – Florida

A growing engineering and surveying firm is seeking a Florida-licensed Professional Land Surveyor to lead surveying projects throughout the state.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and certify ALTA/NSPS, boundary, topographic, and subdivision surveys
• Oversee plats, CSMs, retracement surveys, and final survey deliverables
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and quality control
• Provide technical direction, mentorship, and oversight to survey staff and field crews
• Coordinate with engineers, developers, architects, title companies, and municipalities
• Support land development, transportation, and municipal infrastructure projects
• Assist with proposals, client communication, and business development

Qualifications:

• Florida PLS license or ability to obtain one
• Strong experience with ALTA/NSPS, boundary, topographic, and subdivision surveys
• Knowledge of Florida surveying statutes, regulations, and land records
• Experience managing projects and survey teams
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar survey/CAD software
• Strong technical, communication, and leadership skills
