Caregiver PositionDoes it bring you joy to assist the elderly with daily activities? We are seeking a compassionate Caregiver to assist an elderly lady in Vienna. She is bed-bound and needs assistance with continence care, eating, and repositioning in her bed. Family requests Caregiver to provide her with conversation although she is mostly unresponsive and sleeps a great deal. Build caring relationships with seniors as you help them safely improve their quality of life.Job ResponsibilitiesMust be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations:Follows the instructions of the RN Supervisor in providing personal assistance services.Provide assistance with hygiene such as bathing, oral care, and dressing.Assist with food preparation; serve food, performs errands, light housekeeping, laundry, wash dishes.Observe and report any safety hazards found in the client's home or any significant observations regarding the client.Attend staff meetings, attend/complete 12 hours of annual in-services, and participates in orientation of new employees.Report client complaints to the RN Supervisor.Report abnormal findings in client's conditions as observed and per care plan to RN.Required Skills & QualificationsExperience: Two years of experience as a Caregiver. Must have CNA license, CNA certificate, PCA, or HHA.Requirements:Authorized to work in the United StatesPass a background check and drug screenCurrent Driver's LicenseCurrent TB testReliable transportation, able to travel throughout Fairfax County and surrounding areasImmunizations to include COVID-19 and flu strongly encouraged
